What causes Parasite Infections?

In underdeveloped, tropical, and subtropical countries, parasitic infections usually come from consuming unclean water – either by drinking it, bathing in it, or consuming raw foods which have been washed in it.

In North America and other parts of the world, however, parasitic infections come from other sources such as: Raw and undercooked foods, Pork, Fish, Unclean water swallowed from swimming in lakes, ponds, rivers, pools, pets, Insects – fleas, ticks, lice, and mites, blood transfusions, contact with soil, walking bare feet outside, sexual contact, contact with fecal matter - these are just a few.

As you can see, it’s hard to avoid coming into contact with parasites.

Not everyone who is exposed to a parasite or even consumes a parasite will develop an infection, but it can come down to two things:

1. The immune system of the person - a staggering number of people in the world are living with compromised immune systems. When the immune system is compromised, the body is left more vulnerable to pathogens.

2. The person’s daily diet – The foods we eat play a critical role in either building up or tearing down our immunity.

If you are a good host to them, they will want to stick around. If you become a strong healthy host, they are not able to stick around. Therefore, cleansing parasites while also focusing on strengthening the whole person is crucial for long-term success.
